For the average Panathinaikos fan, it's a reflection of the constant disappointment and the never-ending carousel of coaches that come and go. It's time for the fans to channel some positive energy and fully support Alonso. He was just one penalty shootout away from knocking out Ajax as underdogs, with a few big chances in extra time. After one disappointing result, we shouldn't hang our heads and question the coach or start speculating about the next one. If the club didn't believe in him, they wouldn't have backed him by bringing in a player like Tete. And if quality players didn't trust his abilities, Pellistri wouldn't have left Manchester United to join Panathinaikos under the coach who took a chance on him.
