The thought & crazy talk about Diego Alonso must stop. Let's back support him

A new saying I learnt via my friend at Leoforos1908; "While most people see a glass as either half full or half empty, Greeks don't even see anything in the glass." For the average Panathinaikos fan, it's a reflection of the constant disappointment and the never-ending carousel of coaches that come and go.

It's time for the fans to channel some positive energy and fully support Alonso. He was just one penalty shootout away from knocking out Ajax as underdogs, with a few big chances in extra time. After one disappointing result, we shouldn't hang our heads and question the coach or start speculating about the next one. If the club didn't believe in him, they wouldn't have backed him by bringing in a player like Tete. And if quality players didn't trust his abilities, Pellistri wouldn't have left Manchester United to join Panathinaikos under the coach who took a chance on him.

Us Greeks and more importantly Panathinaikos fans must start looking at the glass as half full and even if they can't see anything, start supporting, start being positive and pour water in it yourself.
